Roadtrip 2017 dag 7

We opened our eyes even later than yesterday, because city exploring wasn´t in our plans anymore, so we could take our time with riding. While eating some snacks fro breakfast, we packed our things and prepared the motorcycle. Soon we were on our way to leave Barcelona. Although we had a nice long sleep, we regretted the decision to leave later - the sun was merciless, especially while standing still. Our road led through coast side villages - suddenly, as we climbed up a mountain, a wonderful view of the Mediterranean sea opened in front of us. We drove together with many other people who wished to be close to the sea. Slowly we got more and more into the main land, able to drive faster and breathe a bit easier in the boiling hot air. Eventually our main destination, Caspe, was reached. We checked in our hotel and took a shower as soon as possible. After recovering from the heat a bit, we jumped on our bike again to shop for upcomming days and go to the little harbor to meet with our fishing organisator. We had a nice talk with her, while watching storm clouds gather above Ebro, which water level is incredibly low this year. When it was time to return, we went back to our hotel and searched for a dining place just to realise that all the cafes and restaurants open muuuch later here. So we returned to our room to relax and work on travel material for a while, until finally we could go out for dinner. When we did, the storm was raging for a while already - it was raining, so we finally used our raincoats! We went to a pizzeria that's quite far away, but to our disappointment, it was closed. So we walked back to a tapas restaurant that is close to our hotel where we had a very nice meal. Afterwards we went back to our 6-days-home where we'll have a good rest before the exciting tomorrow - the fishing begins!
