Roadtrip 2017 dag 14

Today can be described very well with one word - HIGHWAYS. :)
​We woke up in our cozy little French hotel, had breakfast there and rushed out on to a long road laying ahead of us. It was a chilly morning in the mountains, we saw clouds spreading between the trees that grow on them and the sun painting their tops golden. As we speeded down the highway, quite soon we left the mountains behind. And then it was just driving, driving, driving....stopping for a picknick, having a cup of hot mint tea to warm up, and tasty bread with strawberry jam. Driving again, running into a van painted like the one from Scooby-Doo cartoon series even three times! As we went further up, the weather warmed up a little in compare to the one we had in the mountains. We were lucky having the sun shining most of the time, and we hope it stays like that tomorrow! When we've finally reached our today's destination, the Orleans city, the first thing we did was stopping at a Golden Gates restaurant :) After a good meal we soon reached our hotel and stayed in our room to gather strength before tomorrow, which will be pretty much like today - on two wheels almost all the time. We're looking forward to it, though - our final destination is our home!
