Roadtrip 2018 dag 16

Last night at my family's place was short but enough to wake up for an early breakfast. My mom kept us company as we ate, and then the time came to say 'till next times to everyone and climb on the bike again. Tears filled my eyes as my waving mom disappeared from my sight, and dried in the wind as we speeded down the road. We crossed Panevezys, my hometown, and went on through country roads that led us through lovely fields and forests, also some towns along the way. After a few hours of Lithuanian countryside we've reached something way bigger - Klaipeda, a large coastal city. We're staying here for today at this very special place - a German community house. After a check in and a fast shower we were on our feet, exploring Klaipeda. We went to the pier, then to the fortress of the city, making pictures of the "Black Ghost" that was actually more impressive than the fortress itself. Then we went to the old town, had a nice pizza-dinner there and explored further, until we decided to slowly go back, shopping for tomorrow's breakfast along the way. Now we have to get some good rest - I heard that the ride's gonna get long tomorrow!
