Roadtrip 2018 dag 3

Prague greeted us with a beautiful morning. After a filling breakfast we climbed on the bike again and continued our journey. As we drove, the temperature was rising, and the landscape changed from flat fields till forests on the mountains. Soon it was so hot the motorsuit felt like an oven. We took tanking-stops and breaks, and kept on going and going…..suddenly we went off the highway and drove through country roads, passing some lovely villages on the way. Also, we've found something special, that even Marcel didn't know about - old bunkers, tanks and weapons placed at a few spots as a monument/museum. After taking some nice pictures we were on our way again, to run into….the Polish border! Of course, some more pictures followed with a joy of discovering a new (for me :) ) country. Then we went on and on, on the highway again, crossing into Czech Republic and back into Poland again, later taking a dinner-break at McDonalds and then finally making the last kilometers to our destination - Krakow. Soon we stopped at our beautiful hotel, right next to the river Wisla. We took our time making ourselves at home over there, because to explore this city we'll also spend a day here tomorrow! In the evening we took a huge walk exploring the surroundings and a part of the city centrum. The walk was so long, we decided to take the bus the next time! Beautiful buildings, castles and towers, all has to be seen and saved in pictures. We're excited for tomorrow!
