Roadtrip 2021 Frankrijk & Spanje dag 10

When we woke up, we quickly packed and headed out for a few more hours in the centre of Valencia. It was a very quick run for some pictures, leaving us with some time to do some shoppings and have a second breakfast :) . Then we packed the last stuff and took off on the highway, which later turned into a mountain road, leading us deeper into the country. There were vultures flying around, the air was heavy and smelled of pines, and it was bloody hot. The rough nature of the mountains was stunning! There, in the middle of nowhere, was Caspe, with the harbor and our stay close by - El Dique. There we met our fishing guide Jos, who showed us our apartment for the next few days and even took us to Caspe´s supermarket. We stashed our fridge with food and drinks, had dinner, and spent some time doing laundry and relaxing. Later in the evening we took a walk along the bank of Ebro, had some kind local girls take pictures of us in the harbor, and had a refreshing beer in the harbor cafe. There were tiny bats flying all around the place, and the air was cooling down a little. It was very enjoyable, but time came to return to our stay. Tomorrow we start the big fishing adventure!
