Roadtrip 2021 Frankrijk & Spanje dag 13

Today we started out pretty much as yesterday. Marcel was first, with his sportive catfish of 1,40 m, and not so long after I followed with a carp of 13 kg which was quite a challenge to keep still in my arms. It didn´t take so long for Marcel´s second kitty to show up, which turned out to be 1,88 m! It put up a nice fight and Marcel had lots of fun pulling it out. However, you cannot command the fish to come and eat all the time, as it is called fishing, not catching :) From about 12 ´till 17 hours it was quiet. We just sat waiting, talking sometime, getting sleepy from the heat. When my kitty finally came, it rang the rod´s bell very softly, but then it went totally wild. I had quite some hard work pulling it in! The fish was 1,52 m. Of course, of all of them we made some nice pictures. We can´t complain as there are days when you may not catch anything, but we do really hope that more fish will visit us tomorrow, just as yesterday! We finished the day with a great harbor´s cafe dinner, some beers, good shower, and crashing straight into bed.
