Roadtrip 2018 dag 21

The last day of our motortrip!..
We woke up early, had breakfast and left Berlin. Lots and lots of highways were waiting for us! The air was much cooler today, and from time to time we would get a little shower of rain, so we had to put some extra layers of clothes under our motorsuits to keep us warm. We would stop for some rest, hot tea and fuel, and then go on and on.....have a huge German curry-sausage (currywurst) for lunch, and ride on again.....through rain and wind, sore and frozen, we've reached the Netherlands, and then, finally, Leeuwarden. It greeted us with a huge cloud of rain. We first tanked the bike full, and then went to our home. It feels just wonderful to be back again, also having enjoyed every moment of our long, educative, impressive trip. We've made so many wonderful memories and explored so many places I've never thought I'd set my foot into....we've had such a great time with my family. It's difficult to put it in words, how fulfilling this time was. We're home now, until the road calls us again.
