Roadtrip 2016 Great Britain dag 6

This morning was longer as Marcel let me sleep for an extra hour. Then we quickly prepared (well, quickly - only the third shower that I've tried was working!) Though another shower - from the sky - was waiting outside, but there's nothing to stop us! So we went on, around the Isle of Skye, exploring it's beautiful wild nature - just like in the rest of Scotland. Rough, untamed, mountains with their tops hiding in clouds, streams forming powerful waterfalls, everything combined making you unable to take your wide open eyes away. Soon we reached something we just had to stop for - a huge slope colliding with the sea, with a strong stream forming a waterfall, running down the slope into the sea. After taking some pictures and being washed by the drizzle even more, we continued our round around the island. We've been driving in clouds few times more - cold, wet and thick like a fog - but we got used to it soon, just like the traffic on the left side over here. One of the last stops was at a place called Fairy Pool. Place that's supposed to give a gorgeous view, but... We didn't see it, because it was drizzling very hard, and due to all the downpour the path was blocked by a very strong stream. So we followed the stream up to take some pictures next to the raging waterfalls, and returned to the motorcycle hoping to visit the Fairy Pool again, if the weather allows us. Not long after that we were on a little ferry, moving to the main land, and soon found ourselves in a tiny city called Mallaig. Tonight we're staying in a hotel that gives us a bit more luxury - West Highland. After a shower and an incredibly filling, tasty dinner we're relaxing in the lobby, working on travel arrangements and stories. When we're done we'll go take some rest before the brand new adventure of tomorrow!
Waking up in a new, different place every day and roaming unknown lands with a loved one is truly a dream come true.
