Roadtrip 2016 Great Britain dag 7

After a warm and cozy night we packed our stuff and went to have breakfast, which was as filling as the dinner last night, Very soon we jumped on the motorcycle and lost ourselves in the nature once more (well, not literally - GPS still works fine :) ). This day we were granted with a wonderful weather, so all the natural surroundings looked even more beautiful (also easier to see through a dry helmet screen!) If we would have stopped for each and every nice place to take pictures, we wouldn't have reached our final destination of tonight in days! Although we tried to stop as much as possible, rolling up and down a narrow mountain road. After a while we stopped for drinks at a small camping store, which turned out to be owned by a Dutch man! After a little talk with him we sat on grass, enjoying the view of the sea, having an ice cream-lunch-break. Then we moved on, continuing recording gorgeous things along the way, with one of the last stops turning out to be pretty special - Glenfinnan viaduct. In the second movie of Harry Potter, the Hogwarts Express is shown going over that certain viaduct! After taking a lot of nice pictures we moved on to the Glenfinnan monument, and finally - to Glenfinnan train station, to wait for the Hogwarts Express to pick us up. It didn't come! :( So we had to continue by motorcycle to Fort William, where we had dinner at the Golden Gates restaurant (McDonalds). Not long after that we took a look at the local train station, and suddenly the Hogwarts Express was there! Unfortunately it wasn't going to Hogwarts anymore. So we were forced to stay and check in in our hostel in Kinlochleven. By the way, while going to Kinlochleven, Marcel noticed that we were running out of fuel and we stopped at a fuel station where the owner was just closing up. Fortunately we did get some fuel :) Being tired after a wonderful day we soon fell asleep at our hostel room.
