Roadtrip 2021 Frankrijk & Spanje dag 4

Today´s morning was very relaxed. We slept in (what you could call sleeping in while journeying) and went to a local supermarket to get ourselves some breakfast and snacks for on the go. The morning air was cool and the sun was shining as we waved Brest goodbye and rode off on the highways. It was a ride less than 4 hours long, and with a few coffee/stretch breaks we´ve reached our goal of today - Nantes. Nantes greeted us with plenty of sun, warmth and busy traffic! After finally escaping the crowded streets, we´ve reached our hotel where we frashened up quickly and went out to explore. The city is really big, and we needed the bus to reach the centre. There, of course, we tried to capture every old, spectacular building. A large fortress was especially fun, as we could walk all around its walls and enjoy the city from the higher ground. Furthermore we saw some beautiful churches, an opera house with a skating plain in front of it, and a fountain which looked like someone had dropped a half of a rusty ship on some old statues. We had a healthy (!!) meal at the MC, took some more walks around Nantes and then headed back to the hotel. Tomorrow we go further South!
