Roadtrip 2022 Denemarken dag 9

We woke up on this beautiful, sunny morning, had breakfast in our hotel, and headed out early. Our road curled through fields, and then turned into a highway - there was an important bridge to cross! From island Funen, where Odense is situated, we crossed to Zealand, a bigger island where Kopenhagen is at. We rode on though little roads, stopping at a side of a lake to have a quick second-breakfast and carried on. We had a ferry to catch, and we did just in time! It was quite a long way to go, and the boat was rocking on the waves, with the water rushing in all the way to the bike. So the bike has also kind of been in the sea now! It wasn´t long before the small seaside road took us to the destination of today - Helsingor. We parked and checked in at a camping right next to the sea. Soon we walked along the beach, to the biggest attraction here - caste of Kronborg. It was a bit too late to explore the inside of it, so we walked all around instead. Then we continued exploring the place, like statue ´´Han´´ which looked like a male version of the ´´little mermaid´´, the citie´s old buildings and cozy streets with typical Scandinavian houses. After a refreshing salad for dinner, we slowly headed back to our cabin, following the harbor and the beach. We took a look at some flat-fish gathered in the sand. Try to find all of them in the one of the pictures! Tomorrow is a busy day of sightseeing, so we´ll go catch our rest eatly today.
