Roadtrip 2019 Italy, day 20

Weather: sunny and cool. We're loving it!!

Marcel's morning began earlier than mine - when I woke up, he had already gotten us breakfast from the camping's supermarket, so we could eat outside our bungalow. Afterwards we packed and rode off, to the mountains! We had quite some rain during the night, so the air was cool and fresh. It was +25 degrees, about 10 degrees less than what we normally had here! We were enjoying this weather really much, not boiling in our own sweat for the first time here in Italy. Through the highway we reached the mountains - super beautiful rocky walls full of green trees. This together with the cool temperature was not comparable with the South, and we fastly agreed that we like this much more. The ride went easy and relaxed, and we were soon at out pension in Völlan, a little place surrounded by the huge mountains. There we took it easy by going out to explore the place for a while. It was incredibly peaceful, but it probably comes to life later in the year, when all the winter-sports lovers come to the mountains. After a walk around and scaring lots of lizards on our way, we went to a fancy restaurant where we had a wonderful meal and almost had to roll ourselves back to our stay. Now we relax and work on our stories in the living room-area of the pension. Early sleeping is also in our plans! Tomorrow we leave Italy, and climb further up in the mountains!
