Today started earlier than usual. We rode doen the road we've been through yesterday, to Lichtenstein, surrounded by tall mountains which were covered in clouds that looked like huge cotton balls scattered over the forest. In Lichtenstein we stopped in the center of Vaduz to explore a little and then went on further. It didn't take long to drive out of this tiny country, but I didn't expect what we would enter.....Austria! I thought we would keep in Switzerland's direction, but still we took a bit of Austria, my number 5 new country this trip! We tanked and lunched in it, then drove through some towns and after a few hours entered Germany. There we drove on and on, first slowly through little towns, then much faster through highways. The mountains turned into hills, still a beautiful landscape full of forests and eagles flying over them, but it wasn't like Switzerland anymore. On our way we stopped to have a picknick in front of the magnificent Burg Hohenzollern castle. Then it didn't take us long to reach the destination of today - Stuttgart. We checked in our hotel, prepared, and took a train to the city center. It was crowded (Friday evening) and full of nice old buildings quite close to each other. We dined and took an easy walk around the place, making pictures. When we felt like having seen enough, we took a train back to our stay, to gather energy for the long ride of tomorrow.
