Roadtrip 2022 Denemarken dag 6

18 juni 2022 - Billund, Denemarken

Our day started in the sunny Aarhus, where after a lazy morning we left though the slow country roads. The road curved along the sea, over a narrow fjord, and further more inwards the land. We´ve made an ice-cream break along the way, and slowly went further. The distance wasn´t long to go today, so we took our sweet time and enjoyed the view. Suddenly Marcel noticed a sign of an UNESCO heritage place, and we stopped to check it out. It turned out to be a museum about viking kings. Of course, we went to explore it, and firstly went to the part outside. It turns out that the important vikings used to be buried on huge ships on land, and we saw tiles marking where the ship, and the buildings surrounding it, used to lay. Now there was also a modern graveyard, so the people of this place would get buried where their possible ancestors were put to rest as well. Later we explored very nice expositions inside. When we were done exploring the beautiful place, we continued our journey through the tiny roads, which soon turned into gravel, and ended at a farm-camping! A huge place full of animals and different buildings for guests to stay. After checking in to our cozy room, we jumped on the bike again to go explore a city nearby - Billund. We would stay here for a few days....for the Legoland, of course! We parked the bike in the center, got out of the motorcycling gear, and went to see the Lego House first. After making some nice pictures there, we continued though Billund´s sculpture park. Then we walked along the Legoland, getting a little sight of it already, and finally ended up at the center again. There we did some shoppings, got back into our armor again and returned to the camping. Tomorrow we return to Billund again, to explore and have fun at the Legoland!
