Roadtrip 2019 Italy, day 9

Our day began by eating breakfast in a fairytale-like garden of our lovely hostess. Marcel called the place a "one big terraria" because of all the lizards running around. Then we said goodbyes to the hostess and left Pompeii. We continued our journey on coastal roads through Italian villages. The views were mesmerizing and the roads were curvy. We've learned some things about Italian way of driving, like that their continuous beeping while entering a curve is to warn the oncoming traffic (they also beep a lot if they're annoyed, bored and to greet each other). We rode along the coast for the most of the day, and at the end of our ride we turned inwards, into the very green mountains. Soon we've reached our destination - a tiny B&B in one of the tiny mountain-villages. There we freshened up of course, and took a ride to another village nearby to buy some food in a supermarket, because the only place with food was a restaurant of our B&B which seemed to be closed. Then we explored the village - not touristic at all, just the very real life here which was great to experience. When we returned, the restaurant did open, so after eating our own light dinner we went outside for some beer and relaxing on a terrace. This was a very beautiful ride with a very relaxing evening. Tomorrow we continue the adventure!
