Roadtrip 2022 Denemarken dag 3

We woke up in our fishing camping after a good night´s rest, packed, and took a quick walk along the fishing ponds. Then we hopped on the bike and headed further into Denmark. We took the slower, easy roads that leds us through little towns now and then. Between the towns we were admiring the wonderful nature, spotting animals like deer, foxes, martens and big birds of prey just doing their thing along the road. We stopped sometimes to go see some nice things along our way, such as a huge statue of four men staring into the sea, or check out a nice empty beach to run around at. At tiny supermarkets being conveniently all over the place, we would get some tasty food and eat it along our road at the most beautiful spots, watching people fish and having laughs trying out a fishing net-swing. We encountered some adventures too, as hey, a roadtrip is not a roadtrip if all goes ´´according to the book´´. We couldn´t find a spot to board a ferry to take us across a fjord, so we rode back and all around it. That cost us quite some more time, but like that we saw so much more extra. When we finally caught up with the originally planned route, we followed through Thy National Park. It was full of forests, dunes and Scottish cows grazing around. After a very long, but relaxed and fun ride, we´ve reached the destination of today - a harbor town Thisted. There we warmed up a little and headed out to explore. First we had a lovely dinner at the Golden Gates restaurant, then walked around the harbor and made a round around the city center. There weren´t many impressive buildings and stuff like that to see, but it´s okay, as today´s ride was about the nature and things along the way. Now we´ll relax, and tomorrow travel further up!
