Roadtrip 2019 Italy, day 16

Our morning started with checking out of our B&B and eating breakfast at a bar. Then we went on the road and stayed there for a looong long time. Suddenly really weird little houses started appearing! They looked like Eskimo huts, just for a hot climate, made of stone. In a moment Marcel stopped and parked the bike, and we ended up in a whole city of these houses! After exploring it for a while (and meeting people with the cutest dog-babies) we went on the road again - a lot of kilometers were still waiting to be covered. We kept running into these little houses for quite a while! It was quite a puzzle when it came to riding, because many roads were closed and new ones were going completely different. but thanks to the navigation we could figure it out. The heat was terrible (we reached 40 degrees again), so riding in the wind was much more enjoyable than stopping for a break. Except for an ice cream break at a well-cooled Golden Gates restaurant! When we finally arrived at our destination we went straight for the swimming pool! After lots of fun there we took it easy, then went for a walk in the city. It was getting dark, and all the Italians were filling the streets, enjoying the cool(er) air. We did the same, eating a sandwich and having a beer in a cafe on a cozy street, and then returned to the hotel. Getting ready for the upcoming adventures!
