Roadtrip 2019 Italy, day 15

After a tiny Italian breakfast we checked out of the hotel and returned on the road. It was a very long and hot ride through some towns, along the coast, watching the sea and the mountains in the distance. We kept on going and going, until we finally reached our destination - Taranto. Checking in our B&B took a while because of our only Italian-speaking and confusing host. Eventually it succeeded, so we showered and went exploring. It was a long walk to reach the center of the place. A big castle by the water was the biggest attraction. Furthermore the place wasn't really tourist-y. We got some Radlers from an Italian version of FEBO, walked around the water for a while and then had a filling dinner at an Irish pub (no Irish people working there though!) The night air cooled off a bit, but it stayed incredibly humid, making us sweat like crazy. We walked back to our stay through a cozy shopping-street. Tomorrow another long ride awaits!
