Jubileum tour dag 12: Kingman - Las Vegas

We woke up early for a very adventurous ride. Our large group was splitted in two - one went to Skywalk(a place for Grand Canyon sightseeing) and other - to Hoover dam. We were the ones to Hoover dam, because we had a helicopter flight over Grand Canyon waiting for us already. We reached Hoover dam mostly through highways. After a security checkup we could finally see the enormous construction. It was incredibly large and impressive! We took some pictures and I started hiding in shadows because of the heat. Afterwards we went on to a viewingpoint of Lake Mead. Then we took a highway again, to Las Vegas! After reaching it and checking in our hotel called Four Queens, we went out to explore the city. Our hotel was right next to the new strip, so it didn't take that long to be totally consumed by sounds and views of all the stages, bars, casinos and other kinds of entertainment. After walking down the new strip we decided to walk to the old one. Outside the strip the city was oddly quiet. After a really long walk and a few ice-cream stops we reached the old strip, and explored it until it got dark. Then we took a bus back to hotel, because our legs already hurted from so much walking, and the distance we've made was too big to walk all the way back. We went to bed early, but falling asleep was complicated due to being next to the noisy strip. A pair of earplugs did help a little!
