Jubileum tour dag 13: Las Vegas - Barstow

We woke up veeery early, dressed up veeery fast and went outside to wait for a big adventure. Soon more of us gathered and a few limousines came to pick us up - the inside of it reminded of a weird disco with all the lights, and our seats - of a very long sofa. When we reached our destination, we checked in and received special cards identifying us. After a while of waiting our pilot came to pick us up and we all walked to our helicopter. We were seated and soon we raised into the air. We flew over Las Vegas, the Hoover dam, Lake Mead and some towns, beautiful wild area and finally the Grand Canyon opened below us....it was just amazing. Soon we landed in it to have a short breakfast. We looked around and took pictures, I mostly just looked around with my eyes and mouth wide open, and felt like I'm in a movie. After breakfast we had to get back onto the helicopter, even though I wished to stay at least a little while longer and admire this nature's wonder. When we returned, a very funny limousine driver gave our group a little tour around the old strip and brought us back to our hotel. Then we had a quick lunch at McDonald's, prepared and drove on to Barstow. It was highway, with some parts almost completely stuck, but we've made it fine to our staying place. After freshening up we went out to have dinner in Italian restaurant, and now we'll go get some sleep before tomorrow's ride to Los Angeles!
