We woke up early to have breakfast with our friends. After that we had to say goodbyes, because they were staying a while longer, and we had to prepare to leave. So we did, slowly and thorougly packing to fit our motorsuits in our small suitcases, and we managed just fine. Soon we went out, and together with other fellow bikers waited for a bus to bring us to the airport. When we were there already, we checked in and found a place to wait for our flight and have something to eat. We were joined by one of our trip leaders, and talked with him until we had to go to our gate. Soon we were finally sitting in the plane, ready for an 11 hour journey. Somehow it didn‘t feel that long, maybe because we kept watching movies. When we arrived at Schiphol airport, we picked up our luggage, said the last goodbyes to other bikers and met with Marcel‘s parents. After greetings, hugs and kisses we all went to the car and drove to Leeuwarden. After such flights the car trip didn‘t feel long at all! When we finally were home, the first thing we did was taking a shower and crashing into bed. Our journey was over. Rough, adventurous, incredibly beautiful and full of so much, it can be over, but for us it will last a lifetime.
