Jubileum tour dag 10: Ensenada - El Centro

We woke up in our beautiful room quite before the time that we should have, because of loud bells, probably of a church. So again we rolled in bed a bit longer, calmly prepared and went to have breakfast in hotel's restaurant. Everything about it was so nice! Afterwards we packed our things and left with the whole group towards the USA. It was a really beautiful ride again, along the west coast of the Baja California. Quite soon we stopped at Tecate - a Mexican city where you can cross over to the USA. We got ice-cream and explored the city before sa long procedure of crossing - we had to stand in a long line, show our passports, then fill in visas and receive our stamps. Two stamps in our passports already! After entering the USA we continued our journey on a long American highway, surrounded by mountains, which looked like somebody made huge piles out of big rocks. Then we reached pretty Mexican sounding El Centro. We're staying here instead of Mexicali, because Mexicali has a really high rate of criminal activity, so better safe than sorry. Now we're hanging around our cozy stay - swimming in the pool, sitting in the sun talking and writing stories. Soon we all will go to an American "Danny's" diner. Tomorrow a long ride to Kingman awaits, so we will make sure to get enough rest before our upcomming adventures!
